Current Investee - Community Resource Center

CRC began as a small storefront information and referral agency over 25 years ago with a focus and commitment to serving the needs of the homeless. Today, CRC serves nearly 10,000 clients annually through a broad array of Hunger and Homeless Prevention and Intervention services, and Domestic Violence programs including emergency shelter and transitional housing, as well as education and prevention programs. In addition, CRC sponsors an annual “Holiday Baskets” program in which 1,000 low-income north coastal families receive food boxes (over 40 tons distributed in 2005), new toys for children (nearly 2,500 toys), clothing, blankets, infant and toddler items, and a turkey.
